SILVINA HECKER
Silvina Hecker is a visual artist who works in mixed media. Her works describe daily human experiences on places, limits of the language with a heavy weight in her memories.
Her work shows another different way in the presentation of known materials, the way they are used and placed, offering to the viewer the possibility of connecting with reality more quickly.
Her interest as an artist is to insist on of the needed communication between us fundamentally through the existing connections between our own past, the present and the possible future.
In 2018, Hecker completed her Certificate in Painting at the Glassell School of the Arts, Houston Museum of Fine Arts. She has studied with many artists and artisans in Argentina and the Caribbean before settling in Houston, USA in 2009.
Silvina Hecker es una artista visual que trabaja en técnicas mixtas. Sus obras describen cotidianas vivencias humanas sobre lugares, limites del lenguaje con una fuerte carga en sus memorias.
Su trabajo muestra otra forma ocurrente en la presentación de materiales conocidos, la forma en que estos son utilizados y emplazados, ofreciendo al espectador la posibilidad de conectarse con la realidad mas rápidamente.
Su interés como artista es insistir en la necesidad de comunicación entre nosotros fundamentalmente a través de las conexiones existentes entre nuestro propio pasado, el presente y el posible futuro.
